Manish was born in Gujarat, India, where he built a thriving career in large-scale furniture manufacturing for luxury hotels. For over 15 years, he mastered the art of commercial-grade construction — precision joinery, durable materials, and finishes that endure thousands of daily interactions without showing wear.

But something was missing. Manufacturing furniture for hotels felt impersonal. Manish wanted to create spaces that touched people’s daily lives — spaces that made families happier, mornings easier, and homes more beautiful.

That calling led him to Frisco, Texas, and the founding of Coffee in the Closet. The name captures his philosophy perfectly: a closet should be so beautifully designed, so perfectly organized, and so genuinely enjoyable that you’d want to sit down with your morning coffee and just appreciate it.
